McDougal Lake Trails and Hunting Season

A message over McDougal Lake Trails and the Hunting season.

Out of respect for the property owners that hunt the bordering area around the McDougal Lake Trail and for general safety precautions, we have two important announcements.

1. We advise users to use extreme caution when using the trails the weekends of October 10-11 and October 17-18 for Youth Only Gun and Muzzleloader Seasons
2. The McDougal Lake Trail will be closed for Modern Gun Season November 14th - November 29th.

While hunting is not allowed on city property, we realize that there are several neighboring farms with families that hunt. We want to ensure the safety of trail users.
